• Sys Admin / Reception Tab: Reminders section, text unintentionally squashed, now fixed
  • Maintenance Screen / Task Types Tab: we have added two new task types called (External MOT & External Work)
  • Maintenance Screen / Tax Codes: We have added a new column VAT Code column called Default Disbursement
  • Autodata Profile: We have now also hidden the quick access icons from the Reception screen when login on using the Autodata Profile
  • Customer Detail Screen / invoice Tab:  For some reason invoices were displayed in ascending order, now they are correctly displayed in descending order (newest at the top)
  • Customer Detail Screen / Merge Move Button: We have renamed the Copy History button to say Copy (non GSOnestop) History, as it only works with legacy data
  • Customer Details Screen: For any given vehicle if a user populates either the (Cam /Belt Repl Millage) or the (Cam /Belt Repl Date) fields on the Customer Details Screen, users will then have the option to display them on a job card print out
  • Job Cards: When users tried to deleted an AOL quoted parts from a job card GS was throwing up an error, now fixed
  • Job Cards / Tasks: Providing the user has highlighted the text in the task description field first, we now offer a right mouse button option called (Edit) which opens a text box allowing user to read & edit large descriptions more easily
  • Job Cards: When pulling back a shopping list of parts from an Autodata Services GS will now interrogate the Parts Order Notes of any parts with a description of OIL, find the recommend oil capacity figure in litres and then tags the result into the description field of that part line.
  • Job Cards: When a (Stock Controlled) part is entered on to a Job Card GS automatically primes the [Stock] tick box on a part line with a tick (but only when a positive stock level is found) we now do the same when stock levels = 0 or <0. The rationale behind this is to offer the users an early warning when moving in to negative stock before they finish the Job. To activate this new behaviour users must go to System Setup (Stock/Ordering tab) and tick the “Take Stock Part if Unavailable” tick box
  • Job Cards / Inspection Lists: We have removed the labels P.S.V and PLANNED FLEET MAINTENANCE from the Inspection list heading (JA Rose)
  • Job Cards: (Assuming a staff members absence is recorded in GS) if a (Job Profile) has been configured to load that staff member, that Job profiles now sets the staff member to Unallocated when loaded into a Job Card
  • Invoices: Un-ticking the Show Task Totals wasn’t hiding the Labour totals, apparently it got broken in v4.5.0 (11/07/16), now fixed
  • Diary / Month View: We have now come up with a mechanism to dynamically adjust the Per day (Total Hours / Available Hours) when a members of staff are absence for any day in that month.
  • Staff Quick View vs. Staff Week View: The order in which the staff was being presented was inconsistence between the two screens, now fixed
  • Staff Week View: The Event Type drop down Lunch/Break has been replaced with Bank Holiday
  • Staff Week View: If a user extends the scheduled hours on a job card so it overlapped the mechanics lunch break, users will now get a prompt asking do you want to allocate overtime to the mechanic in question (providing Staff Scheduling is enabled).
  • Staff Week View: We have now set the Event End time of a (Staff Diary event) to default to the garages closing time
  • Staff Week View: When booking (Staff Diary events) over multiple days GS now stops the event from occupying (out of hours time slots). In other words (Staff Diary events) can now are only placed on GREEN working sessions. (GREEN working sessions=Business Hours)
  • Staff Week View: If a job is found when the “marking entire day as” option is used .We now throw up a dialogue box with Move Job or Cancel New Diary Event. If move is selected we move jobs to unallocated
  • Staff Quick View: The issue with the quick staff view not showing jobs on the last visible day has been fixed.
  • Suppliers: GS no longer displays duplicate supplier in the suppliers list (primary phone numbers were set to 0 on imports now set to 1)
  • Suppliers: We now allow users to save multiple telephone numbers for Suppliers
  • Suppliers: We also allow user to specify a Supplier’s primary telephone number
  • Suppliers: We now allow users to make Suppliers inactive from the Supplier grid, user now no longer need to open the edit Supplier screen first
  • Suppliers: If a users tried to edit a Supplier that did not have an address GS used to error, (this proved to only be an issue for imported Suppliers), now fixed
  • Purchases: Button label change to from (New Credit) to (Ad-hoc Purchase Credit)
  • Purchases: You can now redeem a Ad-hoc Purchase Credit
  • Purchases: You can also now redeem a Open Purchase Credits generated from an Ad-hoc Return
  • Purchases: You no longer get a link to a (non existing Purchase) on a Ad-hoc Purchase Credit
  • Purchases: From within a Purchase Credit you can easily get to the respective Purchase Order via the [Go to Purchase] button you can now come back from the Purchase Credit via a new [Go to Credit] button
  • Purchases: We have stopped users from changing Supplier in mid flight from within a Returns Note if the Returns Note originated from an Ad-hoc / New Purchase Order. Note you can’t create a Ad-hoc Purchase without specifying a Supplier
  • Purchases: Currently when a duplicate Supplier Reference is entered on a Purchase Order GS used to simply throw up a warning but because GS also allowed users to ignore this warning and enter the duplicate supplier reference anyway, we now instead trap the user in the Supplier (Ref) field until they have entered a unique reference number. (Note users can leave field blank if they get in to difficulty)
  • Purchases: It is now possible to toggle the default for the Hide Zero tick box found on the top of the Purchase Finders
  • Reports: We have introduced a tick box on the Nominal Report to (Include Zero Value Invoices), this option offers some value when trying to work out how many man hours spent on warranty work)
  • Reports: We have moved the Year on Year Report button from the Invoice section to the Reports section
  • Reports / Year on Year: We have now added Month Totals to this Report
  • Reports: The  Monthly Turnover Report now accommodates the new task type called External MOT (External MOTs are now included under the MOT filter)
